I will be in my first art fair in Sept.  I didn't realize how much the pro panels would cost.
Is there any sites with great deals?  I live in Kansas City and I've even looked up used pro panels but can't find them anywhere.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks.

  • Thanks Phil! I'll have to check out the website.
I'm hoping this is my show! Can't believe how quick it's coming up. So much to do to prepare for an art fair. At least this will give me experience for more to come!!
  • I have 12 pro pannels grey color. Adjustable feet, corner brackets, connector brackets and individual lights if you wish to illiminate paintings, etc. The lights are black modernistic flexible goosneck. Great for individual prints etc. I orginally bought them for my son when he thought he wanted to get into the art fair circuit. They were only used twice indoors. Still in orginal shipping cartons. Orginally paid 1800$ for all the items. Still have orginal invoice. Willing to sell all for $1200 plus freight. Can ship UPS freight or Fedex freight I think. Willing to negotiate freight charges.

    • Larry,

Do you still have the panels for sale?

      Kay

    • Ed, Did you already sell these panels? I'm looking to buy a set of them and just saw your post - but it's old - so wondering if they are already gone by now.
    • Ed, there are several people who were looking for pro panels in the classified section. I just bought some Graphic Display because they were cheaper. You should have no problem selling those panels. Kelly
    • Hey Ed!
Wish I would've started looking for panels earlier. I ended up buying some already through a website. I was worried I wouldn't get them in time if I didn't order soon. I didn't realize how hard it is to find used pro panels. I'm sure you'll sell those quickly! That's a great deal.
  • There is a user forum on the Pro Panel website that has a "Trading Post" to sell used panels. I hve not had any luck--but, you might be luckier!!
    • I tried looking on there with no luck. I ended up buying some from Pro Panels because I was running out of time. Thanks anyhow:)
  • I would like to find pro panels too. I'll be doing Westport next week and Hidden Glen the following. I'm sorry to hear you're doing Zona Rosa. I did it last year and it was a bust. Their figures on crowd size is totaling fabricated. I will say they have a great artist breakfast. But there advertising was nil. Most of the people that came didn't even know there was an art show. There was a crowd for the concert, but they didn't really bleed off into the art show. Hopefully they will have better advertising. Make sure to bring your weights two years ago many tents were blown away. I wish you the best of luck. Maybe this year will be different.
    • Boo! That sucks to hear Michelle but thanks for giving me the forewarning. Now I wish I would've sent my stuff to the Westport Art Fair instead. Kind of gives me sick feeling after all of the hard work I've put in. Looks like I need whatever you're drinking in your picture. Good luck at Westport! I also have a question you might be able to answer... what kind of weights do you use to hold your tent down?
