I have read about COA's and they seem to be on copies or limited additions as well as on One of a Kind art. Is that right? If so then I need to make some. Do I need to use anything official like a seal or special paper? I have read on this topic but haven't found answers about what makes the COA's convincing to an art dealer once the artist is out of the picture. I mean how would anyone know that the COA I give a customer is considered authentic, if I the artist could NOT vouch for the customer( like if I were to die)

  • well this depends what is your medium?

  • I just print them on a nice piece of paper and sign them.  If they are going on a framed piece I laminate them and attach them to the back.
