Display Flooring

I would like some information as to what most use as far as floor covering in your booths. Keeping in mind that some shows are on level ground(asphalt and concrete) and others might be on grass, which flooring system works the best? I am looking at interlocking floor tiles, either rug or rubber. My question is do these stay together and hold up to the traffic/ If so what brands are you using and where can I purchase such.

Thank you in advance

Armand

  • I too am interested in this as I have the Boca Raton Fine Art show coming up , my first! Looking for mid to light tone flooring that can stand high traffic and doesn't hold water.

    Thank you,

  • Hi Armando and welcome to AFI. Your first post?

This is a big question and there are lots of good answers, I just wanted to chime in with something I saw in December at an indoor show -- there is no way this could work outdoors, but was such a creative use I wanted to tell you about it. The artist, whose work is completely recycled goods, had completely draped her walls and her floor with painters drop cloths. These come in very large sizes, are available at any hardware/paint store are sturdy and cheap.
