The first exhibit dedicated to the technique and artistry of pyrography by burning an image onto wood and other mediums. On display will be works by 20 fine artists from US, Turkey, Australia, China, and Italy. (Tiger photo is by Peter Green from China).

This exhibit will continue for three months, from June 4th, 2011 to August 27th, 2011

Meet the artists and view demonstrations at the Opening Reception on Saturday, June 4 from 5-7PM, with music by solo harpist Rahab Hackett of Greenville, SC.  

Receptions will also be held on July 3 and Aug 7. Andrews Art Museum is located in the The Valleytown Cultural Arts and Historical Society, at 3rd & Chestnut Streets in Andrews, NC.
