Wholesale greeting cards

Hi, I am new to this and have already sold some of my art to individuals and at a show. I want to go the next step and create sets of greeting cards of my most popular work But I am having trouble finding a good wholesale source for cards, any suggestions?

  • Thanks Nancy I will check into that, I am not quite sure as to how I want to do them yet, directly have them printed or adhere a separate print on an existing card. I just have to ponder that one. :)

  • Diana, are you asking about how to get your cards printed or how you can have a company buy the rights for images that you have produced.  Then, the company prints the images and designs and they sell them in stores.  If you want to make your own cards, check out The Photographer's Edge at www.PhotographersEdge.com.  They offer many products that will help you to make your own cards.  If you are hoping to sell your images or designs you will have to do a search on the internet for card or stationary companies.  Good luck

  • I've purchased boxes of 100 cards from the Offiae Depot catelog. They dont carry them in stores but you can order them online. There are also vendors for cards on ebay. There are also vendors for clear plactic boxes for the cards or bags.

A big question to consider is whether you are printing these yourself or using a professional printer. If you're using a pro, have them provide the stock. You might also contact a printer to buy the cards through, because they likely have NICE catelogs of paper products.

    Best wishes.Nancz
