Art Fair Insiders

Call for Artists, Making Money at Juried Art Fairs, Craft Shows and Festivals

I am putting together a mailing list so I can email newsletters to customers with show updates, etc. I'm looking for advice on software or services. I have a web site but the company that hosts my domain does not provide any free software for mailing lists or newsletters. I'm looking for something I can do for free if possible. Thanks.

I don't know about any free ones, Sheila, although I believe there is some software that is pretty cheap.

I use a service, Constant Contact, which is very user friendly and not very expensive to start. Visit their site constantcontact.com

Whatever you do, get that email collector up on your site as soon as you can. You don't want to miss adding any of those visitors to your email list.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?
Constant Contact is the service I use, also. It was easy to learn, and has been ideal for keeping in touch with my ebroadcast lists.

Please, please, please pay attention to Facebook and other social networking media, too, to keep your clients apprised of your activities. It is important that they know about you. As an artist, you have a certain panache. Whatever you do will be very interesting to them.
Thanks, Connie and Camille.

I do have a Facebook page, an etsy page and my own web site. Thinking about blogging as well.
