What are the best things about art fairs
Meeting other Artisans. No one else can understand your passion for your craft like someone else who has woken up at 3 am with that eureka moment on just how to finish that stubborn piece that's been sitting on your bench for weeks or has scrambled for a pencill and a napkin to sketch an idea that popped into your head that you were afraid you would forget by the time you got home like another but another crazy art freak like you. Also the crowds and hearing other people's interpretations of your workwhich may be a totally different take than what you saw at the time.
Best show ever and why
I'm still searchng for that "Best Show Ever" but I like the atmosphere in Zoar. I love antiques and their fierceness and pride for the preservation of the community. I have yet to find the perfect venue for my craft.
Worst show ever and why
Canton Jaycees Christmas Craft Show. It's not well publiczed and the venue is horrible...an assisted living facility! It also took place right next to another large cristmas craft show in a huge church going on the same weekend right next door with huge signs!
