What are the best things about art fairs
We love the people we meet at each show and the returning customers. It is always an envigorating challenge getting people to talk to us, but we love it when they express an interest in the stones we offer.
Best show ever and why
Petoskey art in the Park. They have taken so much time and effort in creating a high class art community and selection of artists to participate. It is a first rate show that is appreciated by the artists and the customers shopping the show. I highly recommend it!!
Worst show ever and why
Niles Applefest. They have a 3-5 page contract for each artist to review and sign, but do not live up to their own contract requirements. The artists are required to make all of their items, but yet they allowed 70% of the jewelry booths to sell buy-to-sell items and did not ask them to leave as stated in the long contract. The crowds are also there for the carnival, not the art show.
