Working with my husband who's done shows 30+ years; my first show was Ann Arbor.
What are the best things about art fairs
Talking directly to customers and meeting other artists. No one understands our lifestyle better than other artists.
Best show ever and why
Art & Apples; probably about 10 years ago. Closed a deal for the most expensive piece we ever sold during a tornado warning with the siren blaring. Unbelievable!
Worst show ever and why
Hathaway Brown last year. Sold $50.

No one referred me. I saw it mentioned on Bonnie Blandford's blog. Checked it out and think it's a great way to connect to other artists and share info about this business that is so different from any other type of business. A great idea!
