What are the best things about art fairs
Interaction with, and building lasting relationships with vendors and the customers, sharing my experiences and knowledge and exchanging and applying valuable information. I have used these new ideas to become a strong business professional as well as a successful, profitable artist.
Best show ever and why
Asbury First Church, Rochester, NY. After attending this Holiday Show for a few years, I had developed a following who came to see me especially because they loved my jewelry, knew my craftsmanship was very fine and guaranteed, that I would customize fit on Bracelets and necklaces, create specific Custom pieces all to be delivered to their home and, always all pieces were beautifully wrapped. This led to lots of other Custom orders all year round.
Worst show ever and why
A local Rochester Church. I paid $40..00 for a table. Only one customer came, one piece was sold the entire show. That one person was the Pastor. The piece was my Lariat necklace which was for herself. I threw in matching earrings for good luck.
