What are the best things about art fairs

The artistic atmosphere and the diversity of people. One of the few remaining ways to connect directly with people from all walks of life, often sharing their experience with you as you share your own artistic viewpoint.

Best show ever and why

My best show will not only result in significant sales but also expansion of my client base. In targeting and competing for participation in solid pofessional venues I feel I will achieve that end.

Worst show ever and why

Reluctant to call it "worst" but will say its "challenging" --The Eastern Market experience, Washington, DC. New artists are not often given a chance in the "official" venue; the Flea Market at Eastern Market provides opportunity but first-timers are not only confused and frustrated by the dual environment. Once the confusion is over, I believe the collective venue has potential for connection with clientele with specific interests (translation --those looking for what you have).
