  • PS - AFI was originally recommended to us by the great Larry Berman, who we have known for more years than I care to admit. Larry has always been so helpful & knowledgeable in so many things over so many years. Thank you Larry!
  • Hi Pete & Bill from Laura MacNaughton & Lou- so nice to see ur name on AFI , & Connie M just sent me a thumbs up ! The members of AFI have been so helpful to me making decisions about various shows over the past several years since I became a member.

We just finished one of the toughest May show sessions that I can remember, primary because of the weather. Lou, like member Greg Little, got flooded out of the New Orleans Jazz Fest 2 & 1/2 days of the second weekend's 4 days, & I battled horrible weather, wind & October temperatures here in NY at Crafts on Columbus for 3 wkends. NY shows can be tough anyway, having to break down each night & set up each morning at most outdoor shows. But when u r battling25 mph wind gusts & temps in the 50s in mid -May, the show becomes a hazard for life & limb, & downright unbearable in general.
But the lesson of these weeks was in times like these, your regular show customers show up & buy if u have some new & exciting designs to show them, & can save the show for you. Bless them!
Hope Penrod was or will be as fantastic for you as usual!
See you in Columbus, Laura & Lou
