What are the best things about art fairs

Getting to meet the people and it gets you out in the community and your art out to the world.

Best show ever and why

Have plans on going to one, but have not yet gone to a best show ever. Most fun show I went to was the Dunbarton NH, Art and Garden show that is a local show (approximately 40 artists) in the home of sculptor Pat Murphy. Pat and her husband Richard are just good people and all the artists had a good time. Sales were fair to good, but the people and the other artists were great. It is held over Mother's Day weekend. You should try to get in. It is a juried art show.

Worst show ever and why

Have not attended that either, but I hear that shows that have entry fees of $800 for three days, and most vendors only sell $800 for all three days, Tends to be discouraging.

Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.

I do not leave shows. Unless the weather kicks me out, there is no good reason for leaving shows. You can always learn from a show, both good ones and bad ones. You can always learn from other artists, and besides, you are getting your face out to the public. Exposure is so important.
