Meeting and making frineds with interesting customers and other artists that I "click with."
Best show ever and why
The first year Mount Prospect, IL combined their art fair with their blues festival. There was traffic all day and a number of sales were to folks that said they came for the blues festival and didn't know the art fair was going on. They didn't sell beer until later in the day and had it for sale off to the side. Because I do stained glass, I get nervous when beer is sold but they kept it under control.
Worst show ever and why
Prairie Arts Festival in Schaumberg, IL last year. I had an awful location behind other artists so I couldn't be seen from the sidewalk and there was mud in front of my booth. To top it off a bad (wind, lighting etc...) rainstorm came through and we weren't warned. Bucktown Art Fair is a close second also because of being located behind a row of booths so customers couldn't see us.

You might be surprised that someone has already asked your question.
