Best show ever and why
Sailfish Marina Sunset Festival - $50 a week for 3 hours and rake in lots of cash. Just wish I still lived nearby to do it.
Worst show ever and why
Sunfest 2007...first show and almost my last. Poored during breakdown while I went to get the car and flooded the sidewalks. Didn't do bad for my first show in sales but lost all of my larger inventory at the end.

Matthew, you asked about the Salado show. I've done the show two times but none in the past year. The first show was in August which was brutally hot but I think they've moved that event to later in the year (October???). I did around $600 at that show and at the time most of my work was in framed format. I went back to another show in the following spring and did about $425 in sales and my format was mostly canvas. The entry fees are low and it was close (about 30 miles from my home which meant expenses were minimal) but even so, for me the sales did not justify returning. I hope this gives you some help in making your decision on the trip.

Fayetteville is small show but good buyers. Definitely better outside with tent.
