First show ever

Home show (like a tupperware show, but jewelry instead). Weather was terrible and had only 23 people show up, but still made $460 in three hours!

What are the best things about art fairs

The customers first, and then the sales!

Best show ever and why

Tan-Tar-A in April of 2014. I was a vendor at a home health medical conference. I met a lot of great people, and though sales were not that great, I received a lot of exposure that lead to future commission jobs!

Worst show ever and why

I did a show at a horse arena and the owner had the vendors set up in a lobby, far from the event. People did not even know the vendors were there. The owner felt so bad about the event that she did not even charge us our booth fee. We were there for nine hours and made $70.00. Only six people walked by, but three did buy stuff, so at least I was still at 50% of sales!
