My first Art event was Arts Evening in Slidell in 1994. My first Art Market was May 2007 at Bywater Art Market.
What are the best things about art fairs
The people. Whether you sell big or not, if they're interested in the product, and react well to it. I like people watching and being part of the event.
Best show ever and why
The Crescent city Blues and BBQ Festival. It was a beautiful weekend, people came out and came to purchase, not just look.
Worst show ever and why
The St. Islenos festival. It had rained and we were ankle deep in mud for 2 days. And people didn't come out and when they did they weren't friendly.
