What are the best things about art fairs
Making contacts with new potential buyers. Most of my sales come after a show, and may continue relationships for years
Best show ever and why
Craftsman weekend show in Pasadena - sold lots and made a ton of local contacts for future sales
Worst show ever and why
An OC beach town Art Association plein air show - I was at the end of a walkway and the other vendors had dogs with them on leashes that blocked the path from people getting back to my booth. Management did nothing. Expensive hotel and food for the weekend, no sales and hardly any contacts. Never did the show again.
