First show ever
Homosassa arts, crafts and seafood festival
What are the best things about art fairs
Travel, other artists, and the customers – the shows are fun, if you let them be. (my wife told me to add kettle corn to the list)
Best show ever and why
Santa Fe Spring arts festival in Gainesville. I discovered that this is what I want to do at that show. The crowds were great and I had nice sales. I hadn't done many shows prior to that one and didn't know if I would do well or like doing them. I did and I do!
Worst show ever and why
Uptown art festival. The promoter wasn't nice, they were unorganized, they were rude, they didn't advertise. I didn't have any sales to top it all off. Every artist I spoke with had the same opinion and commented that they wouldn't be back. It was a mess. Even so, I had good neighbors and met some great artist there, so there was a bright side :)
