First show ever
A fall festival show sponsored by the Wives Club of Peachtree City GA. It was a great intro as it was small and the volunteers were amazing. I cannot remember anything about my sales....but I learned so much and was hooked!
What are the best things about art fairs
at the end of the day making money and feeling satisfied you made people happy....but before that there is kind of a magic in the air, meeting people and fellow artists, seeing what other artists are into, and it is just plain fun
Best show ever and why
lots of good ones but one of my early ones in Yuma AZ put on by the city. It was Fall and unusually cool with a nip in the air and the smell of cooking sausages. Everyone wanted to linger and it was a great day in every way.
Worst show ever and why
Fall Fest in Candler Park Atlanta GA. It had two solid days of excellent music and beer which was just not conducive to sales and breakdown was a mess when the City of Atlanta Police decided to take over. That said, I still really had a great time and had customers contact me for sales who had taken my card. It was sort of a break even weekend but I would go back if I did not have the long drive.
