What are the best things about art fairs

meeting other artists and networking with other artists in different mediums.. Seeing and appreciating the talents of other artists and sharing experiences. Expanding my client base. Selling what I love making.

Best show ever and why

De ja Vu Fine art and Craft show in Columbus, IN. A one day indoor show where all art is composed of recycled/repurposed or sustainable materials. The community and surrounding areas from Louisville to Indianapolis support it. Extremely well run, good advertising, great volunteers in a very nice venue. People come to buy

Worst show ever and why

Worst show was because of weather in spring. Weekend show which was only Saturday because of very bad thunderstorm and hail storm that destroyed the canopy of my EZ up. and many other tents. Luckily I had taken all my jewelry and displays out of the tent Saturday afternoon I did not know about putting up hula hoops or noodles in canopy to prevent it from caving in. The storm was so bad that the extra supports to the canopy probably wouldn't have helped as many of the better tents also had damage from the hail. Have since, after consulting other artists, purchased a Trim line.
