Best show ever and why
The Hopkinton Polyarts Festival was my first artisan only craft show and about 2000 people were there. My bird houses were well received and I sold half my stock. At one point, I had people lined up to make a purchase. This show showed me the direction to go in.
Worst show ever and why
My first, second and third shows were poorly attended, in fact, less than 50 customers were at each. I still managed to scrape out a small profit. I learned to stay away from fairs that had trinket resellers and vendors hawking Avon, Tupperware and the like.
