What are the best things about art fairs

Affluent, well-educated buyers looking for good art

Best show ever and why

Biggest sales at a community center in an affluent neighborhood in a suburb of Washington DC.

Worst show ever and why

2015 Annapolis (MD) Arts Crafts & Wine Festival. Billed as "Fine Arts & Crafts" but fine artists and craftspeople were in the vast minority among exhibitors and the public came to drink wine -- not to buy fine art.
