What are the best things about art fairs

Hearing people's thoughts about my creations, working with children and showing them how to be creative and seeing all of the other artisans and being spurred on creatively from all of their energy.

Best show ever and why

Wesleyan Potters in Connecticut, because of the caliber of the artists participating and the long standing notoriety of the show

  • Welcome Elizabeth,
This is a great site to connect and network with artists throughout the country.
  • I purchased ProPanels last year and they are worth every penny. They Actually make it so much easier to set up at shows and my booth looks great. All of the attention goes to your art work instead of your display. Websites are great but a challenge to maintain if you plan on seling from your site. I finally went to a look see we site and sell my bags on Etsy.com

    Happy Felting!

  • Elizabeth,

Greetings to another feltmaker. I am a juried artist living in Birmingham, Alabama. I am originally from Michigan, but have been here for many years.
Feel free to check out my blog page - debsthreads.blogspot.com. I am known at DebsThreads, have an upcoming show - ONB Magic City Art Connection - April 24-26 in Birmingham, so I am quite busy. I am a member of Alabama Designer Craftsmen, a local group of juried craftsmen, Alabama state Representative for Handweavers Guild of American(HGA), juried artist at Artists Incorporated(Local gallery) as well as doing many, many shows. At this point, I do mainly nuno-felt wearables, everything hand-dyed and then felted. I am also a handspinner and knitter, occasional weaver.

    What about you?
