What are the best things about art fairs
outlet for my work, fellow artists you meet, fun to be had with fellow artists, customers are there because they value the handcreated aspect of original work as oppose mass produced
Best show ever and why
Manchester, Vermont "Hildene" show with CraftProducers -- well the sales are good, but more importantly the artists who do that show are like family -- good fun during and after the show, especially if you camp out! Next best must also be acknowledge - best for their amazing artists treatment and amentities -- Gilmore Enterprises, Craftsmens Classics.
Worst show ever and why
oy vay...until last year never had any!!! No single one comes to mind....but any show that allows "buy sell" in, when it promotes itself as Arts & Crafts is to be pitied as they are just playing the prelude to their own demise.
