What are the best things about art fairs
Talking shop with other artists, and getting a reaction to your work from those who see it for the first time.
Best show ever and why
Austin City Limits Music Festival. Because it was at the ACL Music Festival! I lived a couple blocks away, so it was an amazing thing to do in my back yard. They were very organized, and it was a pleasure to do.
Worst show ever and why
Colorado Country Christmas Show: Billed as a hand made show, and there were far more food exhibits, and mass produced things than there were hand made. Expensive show, did not make booth fee for the first time ever. I have spent a lot less, and made a lot more at other shows.

Just put your topic, canopy tents, jurying fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, etc, into the search bar at the top of the right side of the page. You might be surprised that someone has already asked your question.
