What are the best things about art fairs
Getting to interact personally with customers and potential customers. Getting immediate feedback on my work is invaluable, and I enjoy learning about them, and what brought them to the show. I also love to people watch!
Best show ever and why
Halifax Arts Festival in Daytona Beach. I was excited to get accepted into this show, but even more so once I realized how highly ranked it is. The organizers were great - everything was very well done.
Worst show ever and why
Halifax Arts Festival in Daytona Beach. A microburst storm came through Friday evening just after we set up the tent. Although it was staked and weighted down, and both my husband and I hung on to it for dear life, it moved ten feet and was destroyed. At least my tent did not harm anyone else. About 40 tents were destroyed. Hard lesson about art shows....
