What are the best things about art fairs
My glass and jewelry looks sooooo much better in person that on the computer. People want/need to pick things up and feel them, try them on.
Best show ever and why
Imperial Sugar Land Farmers Market. It was in their grand opening, in November just before Christmas. I had made lots of pieces in the $20-$25 range which people bought lots of for Christmas Presents
Worst show ever and why
Skeeters Craft Show. Held in the brand new minor base ball stadium. The management of the stadium wanted to use it for community events, not just baseball games. I sold 1 item all day. There was NO advertising, not even signs along the road near the stadium. I was not a happy camper.

I love my horses. I am a horse nut. I also love making glass beads and fine silver jewelry.
