Years in the Art Fair Business

First show ever

A very small natural hair expo in Milwaukee. I made $87 profit, and some good connections and photos of my work.

What are the best things about art fairs

The people !!Sharing my work with them and of course making $$$$$$.

Best show ever and why

A home show and art gallery show in D.C. My best sales, lots of contacts, it was out of Chicago and I learned a lot.

Worst show ever and why

A home show for a relative. 2nd lowest sales, and she just was not in to it.

Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.

An artist friend

What is one fun fact about yourself?

Not sure how much fun it is, but I think it's interesting that I was an Air Force "brat" and grew up in Germany, Paris, California and Texas before returning to Chicago.

  • Hi Cynthia,

Glad that you have joined AFI.  You'll find that people here are so nice and very helpful.

I make PMC jewelry and fairly traditional wire wrap jewelry.  If you have any questions, I'd be pleased to try to come up with an answer.
