What are the best things about art fairs
Meeting lots of different people. Selling my art to people who really appreciate it. Getting feedback so that I know where I can improve. Seeing all of the other artists' work.
Best show ever and why
Moss Rock Art Festival 2011. I had great sales both days, the show was very well-attended, the weather was perfect, the venue was fantastic, the promoters went out of their way to see to the artists' needs, there was a wide food choice and good coffee, and I had good neighbors.
Worst show ever and why
ArtonRMountain 2011, Birmingham, AL. The show was not promoted well, the few visitors who attended had to be shuttled in since the venue was in the middle of a residential area with no parking, there were no amenities for the artists other than access to a public restroom, and I sold nothing.
