first. we are organizing an art fair to benefit the Harsens Island Historical Society and the Lions Club fund for needy familys.
First show ever
yes. 2010 will be the FIRST EVER event of this nature on Harsens Island. We are organizing a Blue Grass Festival and Art Show. This first one day event will occur Sunday August 15. We will likely expand the event to two or three days next year....we wanted to have a manageable event for our first encouunter.
What are the best things about art fairs
We have generated a signifcant amount of publicity for the event, with press coverage including a Front Page write-up in the VOICE newspapers and expect to draw a good first time crowd of somewhere between 2 and 3,000 people.
