What are the best things about art fairs
The ability to show my work to thousands of perspective customers for a minimal ivestment, compared to other forms of advertising. Art fairs offer artists an alternative approach to selling through galleries.
Best show ever and why
My best show ever was in Lafayette, CA, thw weeked after the 9/11 attacks... i believe people wanted a distraction, and something to look at that reminded them of happier times.
Worst show ever and why
The Harvest Festival in Half Moon Bay; people were looking for cheap items, it was so crowded no one could look at the artwork even if they wanted to, and, it poured!

Just put your topic, canopy tents, jurying fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, etc, into the search bar at the top of the right side of the page. You might be surprised that someone has already asked your question.
