talking to people who love my work

Best show ever and why

San Francisco ACC. Great place to have a show...wonderful food near by (farmers market!) , great town ambiance, wonderful buyers. Fun after hours. ACC treats us all great!

Worst show ever and why

Roslyn Harbor, NY Annual Craft as Art Festival This promoter charges a big show fee and then you are to pay him a percentage of your sales. I paid for lots for electricity and he got a inadequate generator that kept going out ALL weekend. I was told by other artists that this was a common occurrence for him. I lost a sale because I didn't have access to my computer for a credit card sale. I was running on my batteries for most of the weekend because of lack of electricity and we were often in the dark. Customers were complaining about paying to get in and then not being able to see because of the dark (We were all together in a big tent). To top that off, he did not deliver a crowd. Many artists packed up and left on Saturday night.
