What are the best things about art fairs
Making money, having fun with costumers, and the camaraderie with the artists.
Best show ever and why
League of NH fair at Sunapee. Most people are there to buy fine art. There is a diversity of work there and a lot of craftsmen who use similar media. My work attracts people because it is unusual and fun and some people started to collect my work at that fair and still are collecting 15 years later
Worst show ever and why
Deerfield Christmas show. There was a lot of weird things there like foam bows and arrows.Beercan ships and other stuff that made me feel out of place. A customer looked at my work and said 'thats a lot of money for a whistle which was my first and last time getting mad at a customer. I made little sales and did not feel a friendly enviroment.
Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.
I came across your site looking for info on the square credit card
What is one fun fact about yourself?
My name is the same as a Senator from California and when people make comments to me about that I say I am the whistle blower on the east coast. I love playing with the customers. Most people who come into my booth have a good sense of humor.
