What are the best things about art fairs

I love meeting my fellow artist more than anything. But besides that I love meeting people who really love my work and are excited about what I do. It helps to build my confidence and inspires me to make new creations.

Best show ever and why

Huckleberry Days Art Festival 2014. It was my second show ever. I had a pretty bad year closing a store front/art gallery and my confidence was blown. That show I sold out of everything I had including back stock and met a huge amount of people that loved my work. It's what kept me in going after a lot of blows to my ego that year.

Worst show ever and why

Artists and Craftsmen Holiday Show 2014. I set up and a blizzard struck. It was -15 outside and nobody was shopping. I sat for three days and only made $500 It was depressing to say the least.

Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.

I was reading this artists blog and it recommended anyone in the art vending community check this page out. https://windykai.wordpress.com

What is one fun fact about yourself?

My art is what keeps me sane. Working with fabric, sitting at my sewing machine is meditative and I find that hours go by and I don't even realize it because time just disappears.
