How Do You Relax Off Season

I'm off for two weeks taking a road trip to Reno, NV camping and visiting hot springs to and fro. This was Spencer's Hot Spring: 105 degrees in stock tank in Big Smokey Valley, east of Austin, NV. It's just about in the middle of NV.  We spent all yesterday morning on dirt roads south of US 50 and the Suburban looks not quite like it has been to Burning Man LOL.  …See More

This was the 27th annual Golden Fine Arts Festival and the 14th continuous year I have participated in the event.  Golden, CO is at the base of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.  It is home for the Colorado School of Mines, a top engineering school, and the Coor’s brewery.  Students were returning to school the weekend of the show.

The show is set up for three blocks on 11th Street and over 130 artists from 20 states occupy 160 booth spaces.  There…

I got a postcard from subject show today with an extended deadline (red flag IMO).  I did the February show in 2011 and was curious if anyone has done this one. I think it has been around only a few years since 2014(?). There is my review and additional comments about Tubac Feb show on this site.

Thanks for friending me Richard!! I have enjoyed the discussions, and your perspective as a leather Artist!! I met some really nice leather Artisans at a Celtic Festival when I was a teenager...fascinating watching them demo their work!! And as I needed a bracelet with my name (odd spelling, so had to have special ordered) my Mum & Da had one made for me...I STILL have it and wear it now. As a matter of fact, my daughter teethed on it, so it now has baby teeth imprints in it!! Your work is amazing...I peak at your saddles every now and again, wishing we still had horses, so I could get a saddle...they are gorgeous! See you on the Forums and Blogs!!
