In 1977 art enthusiasts, community members, organizations, and city officials began an outdoor festival in Venetian Park. Eventually, the Festival was moved downtown to Main Street, Leesburg. LAF features fine arts and crafts as well as a Literary Festival, and entertainment.

In 2025, the LAF features EMERGENCE as a theme for the festival.
We believe artists can emerge at different times in life, 
young and experienced alike.

Babcock Ranch continues to grow by leaps and bounds, and we want you to be a part of this boutique art show. The many new houses in Babcock Ranch need your artwork to make them feel like "home." Extensive advertising throughout Lee and Charlotte Counties, designed to bring art buyers to you, includes newspapers, radio, billboards, and online advertising with paid and organic Facebook ads featuring artist work. 

Various local farm-to-table restaurants and vendors will encourage attendees to stay for lunch or dinner as they decide upon their artwork purchases.

Promotion for Babcock Ranch Art Show will be most successful if artists and the Art Show work together. ArtFest Fort Myers/Babcock Ranch Art Show are both very active on social media and focus our community engagement campaigns to bring more buyers to artists. Working together will attract a larger audience of artists.

We welcome your application to the 50th Tarpon Springs Fine Arts Festival on the Bayou, a premier outdoor event. This juried show attracts artists from across the U.S. It offers artists the opportunity to exhibit in a waterfront, oak-shaded park in the center of Tarpon Springs. The city was named Best Historic Small Town for 2018 by USA Today. Some 18,000 loyal patrons flock to the show every year to interact with and buy from exhibitors, sample craft beer and good food, and enjoy live entertainment. Awards total $19,000.

Spring Bayou anchors Tarpon Springs’ interlocking waterways that directly feed into the Gulf of Mexico. These waters draw thousands of day visitors and winter residents.
