What are the best things about art fairs
I love meeting all the people and hearing their stories. I love seeing who buys my tiaras and helping them pick out the perfect one. Every show is different and exciting. We are at the will of the weather, temp. and make up of the crowds.
Best show ever and why
Yellow Springs. One day show and massive crowds. Done by 5 and home before dark. Made as much as I usually do in three days. Great volunteers and food vendors. I love that show
Worst show ever and why
Canal Winchester Rib and Blues Festival. Arts were an afterthought. They advertized that they wanted high end art, but they were very unprofessional. It was 110 in the shade and no one checked on us to make sure we were okay or if we had what we were promised such as electricity. I've never been treated so poorly. They yelled at me when I showed up to set up as they were running an hour behind and were upset that aI was asking where to go and what to do. then we found no markers for our booths. We just had to wing it. they also called the night before to inform us that we needed insurance (from an insurance office) seemed a bit fishy. People were nice and I did okay, but I expected more.

Just put your topic, canopy tents, jurying fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, etc, into the search bar at the top of the right side of the page.
