You are right about the market place being slow to buy... the economy has really scared so many people.  But i am the eternal optimist...

I do shibori, and when i have been in better jurried shows i have sold scarfs and wraps quickly... but it is all about finding that market.

another interesting parallel of our interests is that you also work with beads... i wire crochet then bead embroider bracelets in addition to my silk dying.

thanks for accepting me as a friend... love your tie dye and your beagle!!! I also dye silk, and oddly enough have a beagle.  your work is vivid, and very lovely.  How are your sales?  I find it challenging to sell the silk unless it is a high end juried show.
