Tamara - we load in on Thursday night, I hate same day load ins and this is such a long show that I am just dead tired by the end of it. Sorry, we've never loaded in early the morning, the crowd starts pretty slow on Friday morning.
Tamara - haven't heard anything about the Gift show. Sue Coccia might be a better person to ask since we don't participate in the gift show and to be honest, by November we do not plan to be living here in the Seattle area any more.
Hi Tamara - welcome to AFI! You might also want to join the Southwest / West Coasts Artists group.
So pleased that the shows were interesting to you, Tamara. I like putting them together and they are always a surprise to me, what I learn talking to the others. Yes, you work alone in your studio, then these can keep you company, and then if you need a little more companionship you can come to this site and interact with even more people. It helps the balance. Welcome.
Welcome to ArtFairInsiders, Tamara. I'm pleased to see you here and look forward to having you as part of our community.
When you have a chance, please add a photo of yourself and stop by the Discussions" area to introduce yourself to the rest of us. We all look forward to your participation here. Many topics have already been discussed here before you joined us. You might like to try a search of your topic before you post your question. Just put your topic, canopy tents, jurying fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, etc, into the search bar at the top of the right side of the page. You might be surprised that someone has already asked your question.
We also ask that all new members take a few moments of their time to read the code of conduct. You will find it at http://www.artfairinsiders.com/page/code-of-conduct. There are a few guidelines that all members will need to follow because , as in any social community, we all need to work together.
Best wishes,
