Years in the Art Fair Business: 20 years Outdoor art festivals. 35 years in galleries.

First show ever: Cedar Key Art Festival, Fl 1974...Won Best of Show. My next outdoor show was 1989. In-between sold only in Galleries.

What are the best things about art fairs: Travel, People, other Artist, Being self employed.

Best show ever and why: Art Deco Weekend 1992 Miami Beach (not Now).
Volume of sales has never again been duplicated by me.

Worst show ever and why: None. All are an adventure and often has a lesson..... Even those, with storms and no sales.

Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.: A very Sad day was Oct.19th 2008 Naples when my Mom died.
The kindness of others at this show has touched me deeply. The promoter (Helayne, Joe) and staff packed my booth on Sunday afternoon dollied me out and got me on the road, so I was able to be with my Mom when she died. (Howard Alan Events) Thank You!!!!
