Review of the Stone Arch Art Festival - Minneapolis, MN

Once again I pitched my tent at the Stone Arch Art Festival in Minneapolis, MN. I've been a regular at this show for quite a few years and it's always been good enough to come back. But the last few years this show has really had some problems.

I've always been a very shy person, although doing the festivals for many years has really helped me with that. I had to force myself to approach people and start conversations which was really hard for me, but is getting easier time I do it.

Large or Small - Does it make a difference?

My creative medium is Linocut Printmaking. When I started to dabble in this medium my pieces were fairly small (maybe the largest being 8x10). As time went on my work has grown much larger, and I'd like to continue to work with larger pieces. Right now I have a good mix of sizes ranging from 5x7 to 18x24. I think the larger sizes show much better and seem to draw more people into the booth to look. Surprisingly, I have also been selling more of the larger pieces.

Many topics have already been discussed here before you joined us.  You might like to try a search of your topic before you post your question.  Just put your topic, canopy tents, jurying fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, etc, into the search bar at the top of the right side of the page.  You might be surprised that someone has already asked your question.
