"What Greg said.
A 20' bar of 2" cold rolled steel can get you 8 weights at a 2.5' length that weigh 25lbs/piece. That's 50lbs/tent leg.
They'll cut it down for you and if your not a welder, they'll weld on rings for…"
"Yeah this is a great place! I'm grateful as well.
Visiting a fair before hand is always a great way to do it. Just be careful taking pics around peoples booths... some artists, especially photographers, are funny about people taking pictures…"

"8x10s are nice for people who "dont want to" or "cant" pull out a $50 or a few hundred.
The average person is much more willing to separate with a $20 bill.
Also... Like Don above, my laptop wont let me open your…"
"I've only been doing shows for 5 years... 2019 will be 6. Photography on canvas.
I ran with 24x30's on the wall for the first 2 years and felt like i did well and had consistent sales. I'd sell anywhere between 4-6 of the…"
Hi, The DIY is a separate art fair but runs simultaneously with Funky Ferndale. I know of several photographers who participate in the DIY but someone else on the site might be more qualified to answer that. Why don't you pose that question in the Discussion forum?
Welcome to Art Fair Insiders, Karl. We’re so glad you joined us. I hope you’ll find the site helpful and that you’ll share your ideas and experiences, ask questions and join the discussions. The site is only as good as the members make it. We have a lot to offer one another, experienced and newbie alike.
Please stop by the "Discussions" area to introduce yourself. Then read the "Getting Started" for tips to make the site easier to navigate.
Many topics have already been discussed. We suggest you try a search of your topic before you post your question. Click the SEARCH tab at the top of the page and “search” for your topic: tents, jury fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, the name of a show, etc. You might find that someone has already asked and answered your question.
Check out our code of conduct to understand the rules of the site.
Each of us is unique and has a gift to share that can help someone else. We all look forward to your sharing on ArtFairInsiders.com.
Best wishes, Connie Mettler
