Had he been to the US before, Annette? have you?
Hi Annette,
I'm visiting my daughter in Wollongong, (birth of our first grandchild), and although I thought I remember that your location isn't very near, thought I'd at least double check. My husband and I are going to Mudgee this coming weekend for the Lapidary Clubs' Gem and Mineral Show. Are we going to be anywhere near you?

Thanks Annette! I'm in the process of moving, so I haven't had the chance to put anything up but I will :)

Hi all, been busy, busy, busy here downunder with my autumn shows - as a rule they've been nothing spectacular either in organisation or sales... but last weekend a regular annual one day show had a new co-ordinator and I'm sure she had been reading AFI ... it was just so.... ORGANISED!

I haven't even posted that I met the gorgeous Kathleen Clausen and her entertaining hubby, Mark, on their recent visit to Australia! We spent the day together in…

I know it sounds odd, but for many of my customers I seem to have become their “secret weapon” in 'keeping up with the Jones’ ' scenarios. I’m specifically referring to well to do, more mature ladies (i.e more grown up children) who “do lunch” with their friends, attend fundraisers, love to shop and so on.
They have usually found me online (by chance!) or at a show and live at least a couple of hours drive away (my local customers are more than happy to spread the word). They…

I just completed another 2 shows which wraps up my autumn (fall) season. I usually go into winter hiatus now working and start shows again in spring. My first was a private school annual fair. The area is semi rural to rural, lots of horsey people (as in, into horses), horse studs and coal mines nearby where the workers gets paid extremely well so generally a well to do area. The women are traditional with a little fashion thrown in.…
