Art Fair Insiders

Call for Artists, Making Money at Juried Art Fairs, Craft Shows and Festivals

The above referenced show is a spring indoor festival in Omaha, NE.  I am not familiar with this one and would appreciate your input regarding traffic etc. if you have sold your art there.  They also have a fall show.  Which do you consider to be the better show or are they about the same?

I have not been to this particular show, but another similar show the same promoter does in Minneapolis. They are VERY crafty shows, very little fine art. The shows usually get lots of traffic, but it is primarily low price point things that people come to buy. I don't know what kind of work you do, hope this helps.

Have you thought about Country side village in Omaha?  Very nice outside show.  June st & 2nd.

We have been very happy with this show but the heat was a problem last year.

I sold my canopy.  I am now doing only inside shows.  Someone told me there was a bluebook for art shows but didn't tell me the name of it. This would be helpful to locate indoor shows.

They might have been talking about "Art Fair Source Book", you can find it online

Thanks, I wasn't sure.
