Call for Artists, Making Money at Juried Art Fairs, Craft Shows and Festivals

I am inquiring about others ideas about displaying prices with my art. I, in the last have use the back of my business cards and just hand written it. Is this advisable or are there better ways to do this?

I use the perforated card stock for business cards that has 10 cards per sheet. I purchase these at office Depot. On the card I print two lines for the description, materials, etc.,  one space for a I.D.# and a fourth space for the price. I've been doing this for years and it works good for me. The important step is to be able to hand write the info so it is easily readable and legible.

Where do you place these during a show? Are they on the wall beside the painting or what?

I am a wood artist and display my work in shelves. I made small wood blocks that hold the info/price cards and I place them in front of each piece
Hi Paula,
As a new artist I have opted for metal signage. My gallery cards sorta speak are 4x6 metal prints with a mat finish costing me $12 each via White House Custom Color. Being that I'm mainly showing 14 large images I found this to be within my budget. My smaller 6x6 and 12x18 images that will be displayed will only have two identical metal prints with sizing and pricing only. I intend to keep the smaller sized items on a single 10' wall.
I've included an image to show what they look like. Though keep in mind they look much better in natural light.

Thanks, Josh, I really think for me that the business card idea will work better for now. But your signage is awesome.

You're welcome Paula. I posted this response before I looked at your booth image and saw how many items you offer. I can certainly see where my idea wouldn't be practical for your display needs.
Thanks for the kind words though. I actually just took delivery of this signage yesterday.
