I walked away from a rollover car crash two months ago - my 2006 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD saved my life...gotta love those side air curtains. I ended up upside down hanging by the seatbelts until the paramedics came but I walked away and am just dealing with residual whiplash issues. Unfortunately, my van was totaled. I've been on a search to replace it since my insurance settled with me but can't find what I need. Here's the list if any of you have one you'd like to sell or knows somebody who does.
I'm set on the Toyota so don't need suggestions or a list of virtues for Hondas, etc. This baby saved my life and I want what I want :-)
2007-2009 Toyota Sienna XLE or XLE Limited (the ltd is what I had, but will take the lesser trim level) with All Wheel Drive.
Preferable 1-2 owners (not a former fleet vehicle) - clean CarFax Report
Mileage less than 150K (much less if possible - mine had 99K but I don't think I can get that for what the insurance gave me).
Clean car, inside and out
No salvage or flood vehicles (it should go without saying, but I'm saying it anyway)
6-CD Changer / radio setup (the XLE came with either the 6-CD Changer or the in-dash GPS - I don't want the one with the GPS) Would be a huge bonus if it was already set up for satellite radio.
All systems working well - electronic doors, etc.
No major repairs pending
Decent tread left on tires
I want a car that has not lived in the eastern states where they use the corrosive salt and chemicals on the roads. Here's a link to the map that shows which they are:
Need to pay around 9K or less for the van.
