Call for Artists, Making Money at Juried Art Fairs, Craft Shows and Festivals

Does it make a difference when applying to a show using Zapp (or other application process) to be one of the early ones or is better to be one of the later applicants.  I was wondering if the jurors at shows view the applications as they are coming in or after the show's deadline had ben reached.

Depends. Some shows order the images by alphabetically, some by ID# you were assigned when you signed up with zapp, some by application start date and some by application closing date. I've gotten into major shows applying at the last minute and also applying early in the process. Basically it comes down to not worth worrying about. The only thing I would recommend is to not apply the first day because if they order so your images will be seen at the beginning the jurors don't have a baseline yet, nothing to compare them to.

I don’t think it matters a lot. And it depends
