Call for Artists, Making Money at Juried Art Fairs, Craft Shows and Festivals
I don't think it matters. It's a straight line show. Four blocks on both sides of the street.
the only real considerations are what direction the sun will be facing you, and how flat were you are is, some sections have quite a slope to them.
It is probably best to not be at the corners of Capitol Square. The food booths and sponsors tend to be there. Apart from that, there are really no bad booths there. There are no "tucked away" orphan sections. All the big trees around the Square have been cut down, so there is no tree shade left.
Like other's have said, there are not terrible locations. The one thing I would probably plan for is that you might not be able to use an awning behind the tent depending on what is located there (tree, pole, etc.).
I wrote a review last year about this show. It might give you some tips.
