Happy holidays to all my friends in Art Fair Land!
When I first tried to post my image I selected "Upload Files" at the bottom, and it only loaded half the image that left a link in the bottom and body of the post to click. Then I tried with the square icon above this area where I'm typing now on the upper left side. This pasted into the body of this post and worked best ~
Santa comes through! My substitute Santa delivered on Jan. 18. Thanks so much to Rozy Lentz. I'm so impressed with this jewelry, a barrette with my monogram and amazing earrings! You've got to know after all the years I've been involved with art fairs (and also no girl ever has enough earrings), these are my favorites! I love the roughness of the design. They are truly one of a kind, and that is one of the big draws at art fairs.
I don't know Roxy, so went to her website to learn more. Wow! So interesting. What I learned: The work is made from repurposed metal. "I find silver plate trays, brass and copper at the thrift store, and then make jewelry from them. When I first started this, I did it because I could not afford silver, and, it was a bit intimidating. But, old silver plate trays were easy to come by..." See for yourself: https://www.roxylentz.com
Thanks Connie, I am glad you liked the jewelry. As I said, that piece that became a barrette, seemed to be waiting for you.
